Ms. Miric graduated with a concentration in Environmental Law from Loyola Law School, earning externship credit in a public interest practice environment. During law school, Ms. Miric externed at the California Attorney General’s Office, assisting the Land Law, Natural Resource and Environment Sections in administration of state and federal laws involving state lands, where she represented state agencies such as the State Water Resources Control Board, California Air Resources Board, and State Parks Department. Ms. Miric also externed at the California Coastal Commission and resolved violations of the Coastal Act at an early stage by engaging in negotiations with property owners and their representatives, as well as city governments. Ms. Miric also has experience working at nonprofit environmental law organizations including Earthjustice and Advocates for the Environment.
SCE’s Ivanpah-Control Project
Provide legal advice related to the CPUC’s compliance with CEQA and review of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for SCE’s proposed Ivanpah-Control Project, which includes a proposal to rebuild 358 miles of existing 115kV subtransmission circuits and install 360 miles of optical groundwire and/or fiber optic cable.
